The Tack Room, Little Cowarne is set in the beautiful rolling countryside of North Herefordshire, close to Bredenbury and Bromyard, 20 minutes away from the Medieval market town of Ludlow and only half an hour away from Worcester and the M5. With panoramic views out to the Brecon Beacons from one side and the stunning Malvern Hills on the other.

The Tack Room is close to the wedding venues Broadfield Court and Bredenbury Court and so is ideal accommodation for large family groups, stag and hen groups, large parties of family, friends and events. There is also an activity room which can be hired for yoga, crafts, meetings etc.

Accessible Herefordshire have inspected the property and have given it the thumbs up for accessibility. We are delighted to be able to showcase The Tack Room

This beautifully converted modern holiday cottage is ideal for disabled visitors and those with limited mobility. With wet room, grab rails, large turning circle, useful handles for ease of closing doors, outdoor terrace with umbrella and furniture, and dedicated parking to rear of property, A well equipped kitchen with table and chairs (4) a double bed (zip link so can be 2 x singles or a kings size) and a further sofa bed providing +2 beds on the level. The lounge has TV, DVD and CD Player. There is plenty of natural light provided by floor length windows (with curtains)

Hoists can be hired locally and there is a shower chair available which can be reserved on booking. Elephant legs can be borrowed too to raise the level of sofas and beds if necessary. High chair and travel cots available too. There is also a local Shop Mobility in nearby Leominster who can help with toileting, wheelchairs, walking aids etc to be borrowed for your stay for a donation.

The beauty of The Tack Room is it can be joined on to larger family accommodation at The Stables which sleeps up to 6 further people. This has proved popular with returning guests for their family parties - grand parents can have a comfortable peaceful stay in their own space and join the family for party time!

There is also a family games room with snooker and large OXO and table tennis table. Board games are also available.

Sarah and family look forward to welcoming guests and are available to help with any additional requirements and ideas of accessible things to do and "whats on " in the area.

"For an older couple, one disabled, this was ideal. Level access, plenty of room, and wet-room with plenty of grab rails. Sarah and associates couldn’t have been more helpful. Happy to recommend as a base for exploring Herefordshire."
